Jim Schissler, PE, LEED AP, currently serves as Vice President and Partner at Civilitude, LLC, a site development consulting firm since January 2017, specializing in land development consulting for various clients in Central Texas. Previously, Jim held the position of Vice President and Austin Operations Manager at Jones & Carter from July 2005 to December 2016, overseeing the branch’s land development consulting and surveying services. Jim also managed a department at Jones & Carter, where leadership included a team of engineers and CAD staff, as well as provided technical guidance on stormwater management and project permitting. Prior to this, Jim was a Senior Project Manager at BPI, managing design teams for commercial and multi-family projects. Jim graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1977 and 1982.
