Joe Martin is an experienced drilling manager currently with Civitas Resources since December 2024. Previously, Joe served as a Drilling Engineering Advisor at Diamondback Energy for a brief period during September to December 2024, assisting with the transition following Endeavor's acquisition. Joe's career includes significant roles at Endeavor Energy Resources, where responsibilities ranged from Drilling Engineering Manager to Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer and Senior Staff Drilling Engineer between January 2020 and September 2024. Prior to that, Joe spent over a decade at Devon Energy, holding several positions including Operations Data Management Supervisor, Drilling Engineering Supervisor for both the Powder River and Delaware Basins, and Senior Drilling Engineer in the Permian Basin. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2008.
