Daniel Valdez

Daniel Valdez began their work experience in 2010 as a Software Developer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), where they focused on developing and improving software applications using Microsoft technology. Daniel also implemented databases using PostgreSQL. Daniel worked at SEL until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Daniel worked as a .NET Senior Software Developer and Team Lead at Softtek. In 2017, they joined HCL Technologies as a .NET Senior Software Developer and Team Lead for a short period of time. Later in 2017, Daniel joined Oracle as a Lead Software Developer for MySQL Connector/NET. In this role, they were the principal developer of ADO.NET, Entity Framework/Entity Framework Core, and Web MySQL providers. Daniel also wrote and reviewed future release plans for Connector/NET. Most recently, in 2023, Daniel joined Civix as a Sr. NET Developer.

Daniel Valdez obtained their Licenciatura degree in Ingeniería en Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they attended from 2004 to 2009. Daniel also obtained additional certifications such as Recognized TBMA from Apptio in November 2016, The xUnit.net Testing Framework from Pluralsight in February 2016, WPF Data Binding in Depth from Pluralsight in February 2016, Practical MVVM from Pluralsight in January 2016, WPF MVVM In Depth from Pluralsight in January 2016, TS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications (institution unknown) in June 2012, and Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (institution unknown) in December 2009.
