Michele Plaugic, AICP

Michele Plaugic, AICP, has a diverse range of work experience in urban planning and research. Most recently, they worked at Civix as a Planner, focusing on community planning and resilience. Prior to this, they were an Assistant Vice President and Analyst II at Guy Carpenter, specializing in catastrophe risk management.

Before joining Guy Carpenter, Michele worked as a Senior Analyst at Econsult Solutions, where they conducted research and analysis. Michele also served as a Research Analyst at the same company, focusing on data analysis and reporting.

Michele gained experience in research while working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Urban Investment Strategies Center. During this time, they supported various research projects related to private enterprise and urban development.

Michele Plaugic, AICP, holds a Master's Degrees in MPH-MCRP from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in Health Behavior and Land Use and Environmental Planning. Michele obtained this degree from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Planning and Design at Rutgers University from 2010 to 2013. In 2008, they attended New College of Florida, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
