Bernardita Calinao

Bernardita Calinao, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental science and entrepreneurial leadership. Currently serving as a member of the NYC Advisory Board for Global Chamber and holding positions as Founder and CEO of Walkspan Inc., Founder Fellow at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and Entrepreneur in Acceleration at the Tech Incubator at Queens College, Bernardita showcases a strong commitment to innovation and economic development. Previously, Bernardita was the Deputy Director for Operations at the Orentreich Foundation for the Advancement of Science and fulfilled roles in project management and consulting with organizations such as the National Science Foundation and the United Nations Development Program. Bernardita's academic credentials include a PhD and Master's Degree in Environmental Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Ecology from the University of the Philippines.
