Emily Dabish Yahkind is the Founder and Chief Wine Lady at SolSummit, a women-owned business in Ann Arbor dedicated to offering certified sustainable and vegan-friendly wines since 2021. In addition, Emily serves as a Michigan Advisor for CIV:LAB, a non-profit focused on urban innovation and economic development. Emily also holds a position as a Planning Commissioner for Superior Charter Township. Previously, Emily was the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Rocket Fiber, where programming and product development were delivered in collaboration with global technology firms. In earlier roles, Emily worked as an Executive Research Analyst for the Executive Office of Governor Rick Snyder, focusing on immigration and business affairs, and as a Policy Analyst for the Detroit City Council President, where contributions included consultations on bankruptcy proceedings and city policy management. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Public Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
