Dean Jenkins

Dean Jenkins has over 30 years of work experience in various roles in the construction and engineering industry. Dean started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at British Coal from 1981 to 1989. Dean then worked at Hedley Purvis Ltd, where they held positions as a Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, and Business Development from 1990 to 2005. From 2005 to 2017, they were the Regional Leader for APAC at Hydratight, a subsidiary of Actuant Corporation. Currently, they are working as a Project Director at Civmec Construction & Engineering since September 2018.

Dean Jenkins attended Aberdare Boys Grammar School from 1976 to 1981. Dean then studied mining mechanical engineering at Merthyr Technical College from 1981 to 1983. From 1984 to 1989, they pursued a degree in IMEMME Hons in mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic of Wales. In 1994 and 1995, they attended Durham University and obtained a CMP degree in business, management, marketing, and related support services. In 2010, they enrolled in the General Management Intensive program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on organizational leadership.
