Rich Braasch

Rich Braasch, CPA has over 20 years of diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Finance & Administration at CKD USA Corporation. Rich joined CKD in 2016 as an Accounting Supervisor and was later promoted to Controller before taking on their current role.

Prior to CKD, Rich worked at Abbott as a Supervisor for FP&A - Corporate Administration. In this position, they managed accounting, financial planning, analysis, reporting, and financial guidance for Corporate Administration and Aviation departments. Rich also provided analytic support to various business areas and collaborated with senior executives.

Before Abbott, Rich held the position of Manager, Financial Analysis and Pricing at Solo Cup Company. Rich'sresponsibilities included financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the Consumer Sales and Marketing Division. Rich also presented analysis and reports for financial reviews and meetings with the Board of Directors.

Earlier in their career, Rich worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at ACCO Brands and Kraft Foods. At ACCO Brands, they managed financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the Swingline office product groups. Rich also collaborated with different departments and tracked performance for promotions and new products. At Kraft Foods, Rich held multiple roles, including Senior Financial Analyst for Sales, Senior Accounting Analyst for Operations, and Accounting Analyst for Operations. In these positions, they handled various financial reporting, analysis, and accounting responsibilities.

Rich started their career at the Archdiocese of Chicago as a Parish Accounting Supervisor, overseeing accounts receivable and savings and loan for multiple parishes and affiliated agencies. Rich also analyzed profitability and liquidity for capital projects.

Earlier in their career, Rich worked at Jane Addams Hull House Association as a Senior Accountant, where they supervised accountants and facilitated budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

Throughout their career, Rich has demonstrated strong financial and analytical skills, managerial expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives.

Rich Braasch, CPA completed their education at various institutions. From 1985 to 1989, they attended Trinity School at Greenlawn, where they earned their high school diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University from 1989 to 1993. In May 2006, Rich obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the University of Illinois.
