Denise Aquino is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education and leadership. Currently serving as an Army National Guard E4 - Specialist since September 2023, Denise is also a PhD student in Education and Leadership at Pacific University. In addition to these roles, Denise has worked as a Migrant Education Graduation Service/Parent Engagement Specialist at Clackamas Education Service District since August 2022, and previously as an NSAR Academic Advising Specialist at Portland Community College. With a solid teaching background, Denise has contributed as a Middle School Science and ELD Teacher at MOLALLA RIVER SD 35 and has enhanced education programs through roles at Portland State University and Pacific University. Denise holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in progress, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Japanese. Additionally, Denise has gained valuable research experience through internships with the University of Virginia Health System and Oregon Health and Science University.

Clackamas Education Service District provides support to the 10 school districts in Clackamas County and their communities through the following essential departments: Administration, Teaching and Learning, Early Learning, Special Education, and Technology Services.
