Clara Aramburu

Clara joined WXY as an Associate in 2022. Prior to WXY, Clara worked at Adjaye Associates New York for 6 years, where she rose to Project Director, and focused on civic and residential projects. Clara is an architect with extensive design and leadership experience in the United States and Spain. Her background spans a spectrum of typologies: civic, educational, mixed-use, healthcare, residential, and urban. She received her Master of Architecture in 2008 at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, graduating with the school’s Honors Scholarship. During her career, Clara has led all aspects of projects—initial feasibility studies, due diligence, concept design, architectural and interior design, construction documentation, agency approvals, entitlements processes, and construction administration. Before her work in New York, she worked in Spain at multiple nationally acclaimed firms. In Madrid, Clara co-founded Daily Bicycle Co., an urban bicycle store, workshop, and meeting place inspired by her vision of boosting bicycles' visibility and viability as a healthy and engaging mode of transportation.
