James O'Hare is a Senior Pricing Actuary at Clara-Pensions with experience as a Senior Pricing Manager and Actuarial Systems Lead. Prior to this, James worked at Lloyds Banking Group as an R Developer for Bulk Annuity Pricing and as an Actuarial Contractor for Individual Annuity Pricing. James has also held roles at New Ireland Assurance, AMP, Credit Agricole Creditor Insurance, and Mercer. James holds a Higher Diploma in Actuarial Science from University College Dublin, a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Galway, a Higher Diploma in Computer Science from Griffith College Dublin, and a Certificate in Actuarial Applications from Dublin City University.

We are proud to have developed a solution that’s not just better for DB scheme members, but also better for the PPF and better for UK business. To date, and for the near future, our focus will remain on working with policy makers, regulators, potential clients, service providers and the wider pension industry to ensure we are providing the best solution we can ahead of a formal launch later this year.
