Elizabeth Schweyen - Cipp/E

Elizabeth Schweyen has over 10 years of experience in privacy, compliance, and risk management. Elizabeth is currently working as the Director of Privacy, Compliance & Risk at Clari, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Privacy Program Manager at Zoom from September 2022 to February 2023, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining the privacy training schedule and managing vendor relationships.

Before their role at Zoom, they worked at Druva from October 2020 to September 2022, first as a Senior Manager of Global Privacy and Compliance, where they determined the direction and priorities of the company's privacy program and updated policies in accordance with privacy regulations. Elizabeth then transitioned to the role of Privacy Manager, where they continued to oversee privacy compliance.

Earlier in their career, Elizabeth worked at Return Path from 2012 to 2019, where they held various roles including Privacy Specialist, Compliance Team Lead, Senior Compliance Analyst, and Compliance Analyst. In these positions, they analyzed privacy legislation and regulations, ensured compliance with privacy and data protection requirements, and managed the compliance team.

Elizabeth's early experience includes working at MyBuys as an Engagement Manager, Client Success, and Business Development Associate. In these roles, they served as a liaison between business and IT teams, generated client-facing presentations, and executed prospecting strategies.

Elizabeth holds the certifications CIPP/E and CIPP/US.
