Dr. Bernd Hirschberg

Dr. Bernd Hirschberg has extensive work experience at Clariant, starting in 1999. Dr. Bernd held various roles, including Head of Engineering/Investment Management/Global Operations Support, Site and Operations Manager for the Pigments & Additives Division, Regional Operations Manager for the Functional Chemicals Division in North America, Head of Operational Excellence for the Clariant Excellence program, and Vice President of Global Operations & Supply Chain for the Business Unit Leather Services. From 2012 to 2014, they served as Vice President of Global Operations & Supply Chain for the Business Unit Leather Services. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Senior Project Director for the Business Unit Catalysts. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Vice President of Global Operations for the Business Unit Masterbatches, where they had responsibility for a network of 11 manufacturing sites across Europe and indirect responsibility for an additional 44 sites globally. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Senior Project Director for the Business Unit Industrial & Consumer Specialties. From 2020 to 2022, they were the Senior Project Director for the Business Line Biofuels & Derivatives. Currently, Dr. Bernd Hirschberg holds the role of Vice President of Global Operations & Supply Chain for the Business Unit Adsorbents & Additives, where they lead Clariant's Additives supply chain, including a global network of 8 manufacturing sites across Europe and Asia.

Dr. Bernd Hirschberg has a PhD from Hamburg University of Technology and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
