Eric van Den Berg

Eric van den Berg has over 30 years of work experience in various IT leadership roles. Eric is currently the Group CIO at Clariant, where they focus on driving digitalization and utilizing cloud-based applications. Prior to their current role, Eric worked at ABB as the Group Head of IT Strategy, Architecture & Innovation, where they developed IT strategy and simplified the application landscape. Eric also served as the Group CIO at Geberit and the IT Director for Europe at Zimmer, where they oversaw the implementation of ERP systems and infrastructure consolidation. Earlier in their career, Eric held IT management positions at Gate Gourmet, SGI, Erelee Consultants, and DSC.

Eric van den Berg attended Utrecht, the Netherlands from 1988 to 1993, where they studied Information Management (Wirtschaftsinformatik). Prior to that, from 1983 to 1987, they studied Analytical Chemistry at Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
