Raphael Lopes

Raphael Lopes has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Raphael started their career at Clariant, where they held positions such as Regional Business Controller for Industrial & Consumer Specialties - Latin America, Chief Financial Officer at Beraca, and Head of Operations & Biodiversity Sourcing at Beraca. In these roles, they were responsible for managing finance, IT, and human resources, leading teams to deliver business-oriented results, and handling strategic projects such as mergers and acquisitions. Raphael also served as President of the Beraca Institute and President of the Fiscal Committee at Previplan Sociedade De Previdencia Privada. Currently, their most recent position is President at the Beraca Institute.

Raphael Lopes has a strong background in executive education, with several certifications in various fields. In 2023, they completed an executive education program in Strategic Marketing at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa. In 2018, they completed another executive education program at the same institution, this time in Sales Management. In 2015, Raphael pursued a program in Merger & Acquisitions at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa. Prior to their executive education, they earned a degree in Finance from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2007. Additionally, Raphael has obtained certifications in leadership and crisis management from INSEAD, as well as the CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA.
