Richard Haldimann

Richard Haldimann started their work experience in 2000 at Siegfried Ltd, where they held various roles including Business Development Manager, Director of Business Development, Head of Product Management, and Director of Development. In 2010, they joined Clariant as Deployment Leader, responsible for supporting business units in achieving their objectives and developing innovation excellence concepts. Richard later became Head of New Business Development, where they focused on finding and developing sustainable growth options for Clariant. In 2020, they were promoted to Head of Sustainability, and in 2022, they became the Chief Technology & Sustainability Officer at Clariant.

Richard Haldimann holds a PhD in Chemistry from ETH Zürich, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Prior to their PhD, they completed a Masters in Chemistry at ETH Zürich from 1989 to 1994. After completing their PhD, they pursued a Post Doc at UC San Diego from 1998 to 1999.
