Fred Bret-Mounet

Did you know that your medical information is worth 10 times more than your credit card number on the black market? The corollary is true: all of us in healthcare need to be 10 times more vigilant in our practice of information security than other industries.

Fred is responsible for Clarify Health’s security posture as it relates to protecting our customers’ data and maintaining their trust. Information Security has been Fred’s passion and focus for over two decades. He has built and led information security functions at both startups and enterprise settings. He deeply believes in understanding the business drivers in conjunction with risks to provide better care and security to Clarify’s customers and patients. With a solid technologist background, Fred has been able to help solve problems while injecting the Information Security dimension into Clarify’s collective risk model.

Outside of work, Fred enjoys exploring internet of things (IoT), most recently with breaking into his solar panels. When not distracted by that, he tries to focus all of my attention to my wonderful wife and our 5 kids.
