Lynne Hughes

Lynne Hughes has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Lynne started their career as a PR & Communications Consultant, working as a freelancer from 2002 to 2011. Lynne then joined Strathclyde Police as a Media Relations Officer from 2004 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Smarts Communicate (Scotland) as a PR Senior Account Manager, where they worked on various consumer and corporate accounts, developing expertise in media relations, event management, and issues management. Since 2017, Lynne has been working at Clarion Communications, initially as an Associate Director and currently as a Senior Associate Director. Overall, Lynne has gained extensive experience in the industry and has worked on diverse and exciting campaigns for clients including the Scottish Government, The Great Run Company, Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital, and Fathers Network Scotland.

Lynne Hughes attended Thomas Muir High School from 1989 to 1994, where they completed their Bishopbriggs degree. Following that, they pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Communications at GCNS from 1997 to 1999.
