Adam McIntosh

Adam McIntosh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adam currently holds the position of Director of IT at Clarion Technologies, Inc. Adam joined the company in January 2020 and is responsible for overseeing the IT department.

Prior to their current role, Adam worked at abas USA from 2012 to 2019. During their time there, they held various positions including Key Client Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Technical Consultant. As a Key Client Manager, they focused on creating reference clients to drive sales growth and addressed technical and logistics issues. In their role as Project Manager, they led projects from kickoff to go-live, trained core teams, and facilitated process mapping discussions. As a Senior Technical Consultant, they created custom modules, customized software, and provided technical troubleshooting for clients.

Before joining abas USA, Adam worked at AssetBook from 2010 to 2012. Adam served as an Implementation Manager, collaborating with the sales team to onboard new client databases and developing custom solutions. Adam also worked as a Database Specialist, providing customer support, creating documentation, and troubleshooting procedures for new hires.

Adam's earlier career includes roles at Qwest, where they worked as a Senior Operations Technician from 2000 to 2005. In this role, they troubleshooted issues on remote access platforms and coordinated troubleshooting efforts between different departments. Prior to Qwest, they worked as a Network Engineer at Teligent, Inc. from 1999 to 2000, where they focused on troubleshooting customer networking issues and working with Cisco and Nortel router platforms.

Adam McIntosh has a diverse education history. Adam completed some college coursework in Computer Science at Saginaw Valley State University from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further studies at Northern Virginia Community College from 2003 to 2005, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. Seeking to deepen their knowledge and skills in Computer Science, McIntosh attended Garrett College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Finally, they attended Strayer University from 2014 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Programming Technology.
