Terho Laakkonen

Terho Laakkonen is an experienced technology leader and entrepreneur, currently serving as Founder and CTO at Maire, a company dedicated to helping B2C e-commerce brands leverage emerging online trends. Since June 2022, Laakkonen has also been the Lead Solutions Engineer at Clarisights, focusing on client acquisition and the creation of scalable technical solutions. Previous roles include Head of Technical Consulting and various engineering positions at Smartly.io, where Laakkonen optimized customer experiences through innovative software development. Prior to that, Laakkonen worked in the financial sector at Nordea, contributing to securities operations and customer service. As a co-founder of Kauppikseen.fi, Laakkonen helped establish an online e-learning platform, and has notable experience in web design and mobile game development through Routa Entertainment. Laakkonen holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from Aalto University, along with multiple degrees in business and finance.
