Athena Uzzo

Athena Uzzo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Graduate Student at Dartmouth Medical School for three and a half years. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Manager of Clinical Affairs and Clinical Trials Project Manager at M2S, Inc. Following this, they moved to CogState, Inc., where they held the positions of Senior Clinical Project Manager and later Head of Project Management, Clinical Trials, managing cognitive testing for pharma-sponsored clinical trials.

In 2014, Uzzo joined Core Informatics as the Director of Professional Services and later became the Vice President of Customer Success. Core Informatics was a growth stage software company providing cloud-based data management solutions. In 2017, the company was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Uzzo continued working there as the Director of Customer Success for their Digital Science Business Unit.

Uzzo's next role was at Ancera, where they served as the Vice President of Commercial Operations. Ancera is a pioneer in microbial risk assessment and monitoring solutions for the food industry, offering real-time detection and quantification of microbial threats.

Currently, Uzzo holds the position of Vice President of Customer Experience at Claritas Rx, a company focused on improving patient outcomes through data-driven insights and solutions.

Throughout their career, Uzzo has demonstrated expertise in customer success, project management, and commercial operations, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries.

Athena Uzzo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Boston University between 2000 and 2004. Athena then pursued further education at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Athena Uzzo has obtained certifications including a Green Belt, Lean 6-Sigma from Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
