Walid Hassan

Walid Hassan, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and research within the fields of biomedical engineering and intellectual property. Currently serving as Principal and Director of Consulting at Clarivate since October 2017, Walid has held various leadership roles including Director of Solution Consultants for EMEA and Head of R&D Consulting Services. Prior experience includes a position as Solution Consultant for R&D at Thomson Reuters and a significant tenure at Lebanese International University as Associate Dean for R&D and Chairman of Biomedical Engineering. Walid's academic credentials include a PhD in Engineering Physics from Grenoble INP - UGA, as well as Master's degrees in Intellectual Property Strategies and Biomedical Engineering, complemented by an engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from IUL.
