Alex Tejero

Alex Tejero is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in school administration and teaching. Currently serving as a School Principal at Clark County School District since August 2016, Alex has previously held positions as Assistant Principal and Literacy Specialist within the same district. In addition, Alex contributed to the academic community as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from August 2017 to June 2021. Prior experience includes a teaching role at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from August 2008 to August 2016, where a focus was placed on diverse classrooms, including ELL, GATE, and SPED Inclusion categories. Alex's educational credentials include a Certificate of Executive Leadership from Howard University, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School.
