Meaghan McGowan

Meaghan McGowan is an experienced educator currently serving as a School Principal at Clark County School District since August 2018, where prior roles included Assistant Principal and Dean of Students. Meaghan's background also includes a role as School Director with Teach For America, managing the inaugural Summer School Program for NV Prep and mentoring teachers. Earlier experience in Clark County School District involved serving as a Learning Strategist and Instructional Coach, training over 100 teachers, and as English Department Chair, facilitating a Professional Learning Community Model. Meaghan began a career in education as an English Instructor with Teach For America. Meaghan holds two Master of Education degrees in Educational Leadership and Secondary Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature from the University of Florida.
