Cyndee Moore, Ed.D. has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Cyndee began their career as the Managing Editor for Evince Magazine from 2000 to 2005, where they managed all aspects of publication and oversaw a team of writers and interns. Cyndee then moved on to Borderline Publications as the Managing Editor from 2005 to 2009, where they maintained responsibility for publication and distribution of a regional arts and leisure magazine.
In 2003, Moore joined National College as the Campus Director, overseeing all aspects of campus operations and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards. Cyndee later became the Regional Vice President of Operations, overseeing operations for fifteen campuses and implementing strategic plans for enrollment, retention, and student learning outcomes.
From 2017 to 2021, Moore served as the Executive Director at the University of North Georgia's Oconee Campus. In this role, they coordinated day-to-day operations, maintained an educational environment, and ensured the upkeep of buildings and grounds.
In 2022, Moore held positions at both the National Association of Branch Campus Administrators as the Director of Operations and the Clarke County School District as the Executive Director of Public Relations and Communications. These roles involve overseeing operational activities and managing public relations and communications for the respective organizations.
Cyndee Moore, Ed.D. completed their education in a chronological order. Cyndee first attended the University of Virginia from 1981 to 1985, where they received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Following this, they pursued a NK-4 Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education from Averett University from 1989 to 1991. Cyndee then decided to further their education and obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Virginia, attending from 2000 to 2002. Lastly, they attended Vanderbilt University from 2012 to 2015, where they successfully earned their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree with a focus on Higher Education Leadership Policy.
