Erica Cascio has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Erica started their career in 1983 at Winn Dixie Stores, where they served as a Bookkeeper, Customer Service Manager, and Stock staff for six years. In 1989, they joined Allstate Insurance as a Senior Market Underwriting Assistant, where they were responsible for risk assessment and reviewing insurance applications. Erica then became the Owner of Riverside Restaurant Associates in 1993, overseeing the business until 2011. In 2008, they ventured into the restaurant industry again as the Owner/Manager of Squareone Fish Co. Restaurant and Bar, where they focused on building the brand and managing the establishment's social media presence. In 2012, Erica briefly worked as a Business Consultant at Steel Raven Industries. Finally, they joined Clarke County School District in 2017 as a Teacher of French.
Erica Cascio completed their Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from Florida Atlantic University, from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they also pursued French and English Literature at the same institution, from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Professional Food Manager from ServSafe Food Protection Manager Instructor in October 2011.
