Emily Blakowski is an experienced librarian and technology services assistant, currently serving as the Adult Services Librarian at Clarkston Independence District Library since March 2019, where responsibilities include providing reference services, assisting patrons with technology, and creating adult programs. Emily has been associated with Romeo District Library since April 2016, first as a Library Assistant and now as a Technology Services Library Assistant, focusing on cataloging, processing books, and facilitating discussions. Additional experience includes internships at Troy Historic Village and various theatre companies, along with positions at Macomb Community College and Aquinas College Library. Emily holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Theatre from Aquinas College.
