Walther Krause

Walther Krause, MSc. PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Walther is currently a member of Open Mind Brazil. Previously, they held the position of Chief of Risk Officer (CRO) / Diretor de Riscos Corporativos at Claro Brasil. Walther also served as the Past President of PMI Rio de Janeiro Chapter. Additionally, they worked as a Professor Convidado at FGV and IAG PUC. Walther has also been actively involved in ABNT as the Coordenador da CEE 93 - Gestão de Projetos, Programas e Portfolio. Prior to these roles, they worked as the Governance Manager at CLARO BRASIL (NET, Claro, Embratel). Walther started their career as a Gerente de TI at IESA and later worked as a Programador at EMAQ.

Walther Krause, MSc. PMP holds a Master of Science degree in Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, obtained between 2003 and 2005. Walther also holds an MBA in Management from IAG - Pontífica Universidade Católica, achieved in 1999. In terms of executive education, they attended the Wharton Executive Education program in 2023, focusing on Executive Influence: Increasing Your Impact with Persuasion and Power. Walther also completed extension programs at IESE Business School in 2013, specializing in High Performance Teamworking, and at Stanford Law School in 2011, focusing on Directors College Rock Center for Corporate Governance. Furthermore, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2000. Additionally, Krause has attained several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist and SAFE 6.0 AGILIST from Scaled Agile, Inc., as well as Generative AI Overview for Project Managers from the Project Management Institute, all in 2023.
