Michal Erel

Michal Erel has a strong background in product management and quality assurance. Michal currently works at Claroty as the Director of Product Management, where they are responsible for securing cyber-physical systems and providing industrial cybersecurity controls. Prior to this, they held various roles at Claroty, including Product Team Leader and Senior Product Manager. In these positions, they led product management, collaborated with R&D teams, managed release cycles, and provided training and documentation. Before joining Claroty, Michal worked at Matomy as a Scrum Master and Senior QA Lead, where they tested a large-distributed system and defined working procedures and processes. Michal also has experience at Flash Networks, where they served as a QA Team Leader and QA Engineer, managing teams, ensuring system functionality and quality, and leading product improvements.

Michal Erel completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Business Technologies from The College of Management Academic Studies from 2009 to 2012. In 2018, Michal pursued further education in Product Management and successfully obtained a Professional Product Manager certification from pmsphere - Leading Products to Success. In 2021, Michal also earned additional certifications, PMC Level I and PMC Level II, from Pragmatic Institute. Currently, Michal is engaged in a Professional Product Leader program at pmsphere - Leading Products to Success, expected to be completed in 2022.
