Monica Wambui

Monica Wambui is a Senior Program Associate at CLASP. Monica previously worked as a Projects Coordinator at Linksoft Integrated Services (East Africa) Limited from April 2016 to December 2018, where they were responsible for executing projects within cost, time and quality constraints. Monica also worked as a Technology Intern in the Network Engineering Department at Safaricom from February 2014 to May 2014, and as an Electrical Intern at Kenya Power from February 2012 to May 2012.

Monica Wambui's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications and information engineering from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a certificate in fiber optics from the African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute, and a certificate in greening the economy and sustainable cities from Lund University. Monica is also a solar PV technician class T3 from the Energy Regulatory Commission and has a certification from the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa in the YALI Women in African Power Program(WiAP),East Africa. Monica Wambui is also certified by the Fiber Optic Association as a Certified Fiber Optic Technician and by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
