The current executive team at Class has a wide range of experience in different industries and fields of study. The CEO, Michael Staton, has experience as the CEO of NovoEd and DataHero, as well as being the Business Unit President at Blackboard. He has a degree in Information & Computing Systems from San Francisco State University. The Chief Technology Officer, Rebecca Petersen, has experience as the Master Software Engineer at Capital One and the Principal Software Engineer at Verizon/MapQuest. She has a degree in Computer Science from American University. The Vice President of Research and Development, Julie Young, has experience as the SVP - Education Strategy at Instructure and the Vice President International at PrecisionHawk. She has degrees in Media Studies and Philosophy from The Catholic University of America.
