Ashly Garcia

Ashly Garcia serves as a ClassiCorps Teaching Fellow and Learning Specialist for grades 5 to 8 at Classical Charter Schools since March 2024. Previously, Ashly was involved with projectBASTA as a Basta Fellow from January 2022 to March 2024, where participation in a rigorous fellowship program aimed at supporting first-generation college students was central. Prior roles include Customer Success Representative at Justworks, EOP Peer ALLI and EOP Liaison at SUNY New Paltz, and various positions within the education sector, such as Resident Assistant and Education Program Intern. Ashly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz and has a strong background in mentoring, student support, and community engagement.
