Álvaro Martín

Álvaro Martín has a diverse work experience in the field of language and translation. Álvaro started their career in 2016 at Virtua MC, International Communications Company, where they worked as a Translator, Editor, and Transcreation Specialist. In 2018, they joined Beluga Linguistics and translate plus, where they continued working in similar roles. In 2019, Álvaro worked at Moravia, Freedman International, and ClassPass, taking on roles such as Subtitling Specialist, Translator, and Transcreation Specialist. In 2020, they joined Creative Translation as a Transcreation Specialist and Editor. Currently, Álvaro is working at ĀURA and lululemon as a Transcreation Specialist.

Álvaro Martín's education history begins in 2008, when they enrolled at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Language Interpretation and Translation. Álvaro completed their undergraduate studies in 2012.

In 2009, Álvaro Martín briefly attended the University of Cologne to study English Studies and Romance Studies. However, no degree was obtained from this institution.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Álvaro Martín pursued further education at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. From 2012 to 2015, they studied at this institution and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Audiovisual Translation.

During their time in education, Álvaro Martín also obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they received a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment. In 2011, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced German from Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. Additionally, in 2007, they obtained a First Certificate in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
