Margarida Soares

Margarida Soares has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Margarida is currently working as a Localisation Operations Manager at ClassPass since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at MindGym as a Localisation Operations Manager, responsible for executing the company's localisation strategy across different digital products. Margarida joined MindGym in December 2020 and left in June 2022.

Before joining MindGym, Margarida worked as a Digital Project Lead at Hemsley Fraser from April 2019 to December 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Localisation Project Manager at GlobaLexicon from June 2017 to April 2019. Margarida also worked as a Translation Project Manager at Latin Link from October 2016 to June 2017.

Margarida's earlier work experiences include a role as a Translation Project Manager at Viva Translations from December 2012 to September 2016, where they managed accounts and oversaw translation projects in various fields. Margarida also worked as a Freelance Translator, primarily focusing on translation and proofreading, from December 2009 to September 2013.

Additionally, Margarida has worked as a Translator and Proofreader at Multivertentes, handling various translation projects and managing clients' accounts from August 2011 to December 2012. Margarida also worked as a Translator and Online Editor at VICE Media from December 2009 to August 2011 and had a translation trainee position at the European Parliament from April 2010 to July 2010.

Margarida Soares pursued their education at the Universidade do Porto from 2008 to 2010, during which they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Translation and Language Services. Prior to that, they attended the Universidade de Coimbra from 2005 to 2008 and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anglo-American Studies. Margarida also received additional certifications, including a Certification of Proficiency in English from Cambridge College in June 2009 and a Localization Management Master Class from The Localization Institute in April 2022.
