Eduardo Abeliuk began their career in 2001 as an Engineering Intern at Motorola in Chandler, AZ. In 2002, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Synopsys in Mountain View, CA. In 2004, they became a Software Engineer at SMaL Camera Technologies in Cambridge, MA. The company was later acquired by Cypress Semiconductor. In 2007, they founded KissMe LLC, a Computer Science project at Stanford University that implemented the concept of a "virtual kiss". In 2010, they became a Fellow at Lightspeed Venture Partners. In 2011, they founded Umine (formerly ClassroomTV), a Human Capital Growth platform. In 2012, they founded TeselaGen Biotechnology, a Biological Design Automation platform for re-engineering the genetics of various strains to manufacture high-value biochemicals, biologics and biofuels. Eduardo also served as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from 2005-2010.
Eduardo Abeliuk received their PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2011. Eduardo also obtained an MS in Bioengineering from Stanford University in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BS/Eng in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Chile in 2003, and a BS in Physics from Universidad de Chile in 2002. Eduardo also attended Santiago College.
