Tiago Sampaio

Tiago Sampaio has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Tiago is currently working at Classy Llama as a Technical Lead & Sr. Magento 2/Adobe Commerce Engineer, where they lead development on important Magento 2 projects and provides mentorship to other developers. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Magento 2/Adobe Commerce Engineer at Classy Llama, where their responsibilities included solving complex problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing code for the Magento 2 platform.

Tiago also has experience as the CEO & Co-Founder of MagedIn Technology and as a Magento Technical Architect at GRAYBOX. Tiago has a strong background in Magento development, having worked as a Magento Technical Lead at McFadyen Digital and as an Information Technology Manager and Software Development Manager at B2W Digital. Before this, Tiago was the Software Development Manager at Smart e-Commerce do Brasil and the Senior PHP/Magento Architect at Shoes4you.

Additionally, Tiago has worked as a PHP Developer at Virtual Biz, an Analyst/Excel VBA Developer at Itaiquara Alimentos, and held various positions at TECH DATA BRASIL LTDA, including Purchasing Assistant, Operation Assistant Jr., and Trainee (Operations). Throughout their career, Tiago has demonstrated their expertise in software development, Magento commerce, and team leadership.

Tiago Sampaio completed their Bachelor's degree in Company Administration at Faculdade Fernão Dias from 2005 to 2008. In 2010, they attended Melies - Escola de Cinema e Animação, where they studied Sketch - Characters Creation as a part of a Technical program. In the same year, they also enrolled at TreinaWeb and obtained a Technical certification in PHP - Object Oriented Programming. In 2011, Tiago attended Melies - Escola de Cinema e Animação again, focusing on Crayon - Digital Painting in Photoshop.

Over the years, Tiago also acquired several additional certifications. In December 2012, they became a Magento Certified Developer, and in January 2013, they achieved Magento Certified Developer Plus status. In June 2013, Tiago earned the Magento Front End Certified Developer certification. Later on, in July 2020, they obtained the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) issued by CertiProf. Additionally, in August 2020, they acquired the DevOps Essentials Professional Certificate (DEPC) from the same institution. Their most recent certification, the Klaviyo Systems Integrator Certification, was completed in April 2022.
