Jacob Fostner

Jacob Fostner has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Jacob is currently employed at Classy as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sentry as a Software Engineer from August 2021 to January 2023. Before Sentry, Jacob worked at Citi as a Microservices Application Developer from July 2018 to January 2019. Jacob also has internship experience, having worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance as an ETS Software Innovation Intern in 2017 and at CUNA Mutual Group as an IT Application Development Intern in 2016. Jacob began their career at Hayes Components as a Tech Support Coordinator from May 2014 to August 2015.

Jacob Fostner attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Philosophy. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020, the Certified SAFe® 5 Advanced Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2020, and the Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2019.
