Tripp Horbinski

Tripp Horbinski has extensive work experience in various cloud-related roles. Tripp held the position of Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Classy from April 2023 to present. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer at FNBO from February 2023 to April 2023.

Tripp also served as the Lead Infra/DevOps Engineer at Cardless from August 2022 to January 2023. In this role, they codified existing AWS resources using Terraform, refactored Terraform git repositories, and successfully migrated Amazon EKS clusters with minimal downtime.

Before Cardless, Tripp worked as a Cloud Engineer at Veda from January 2021 to August 2022. Their responsibilities included designing serverless application architectures, writing reusable TypeScript constructs with the AWS CDK, and leveraging Terraform for specific AWS APIs.

Tripp started their career at Northwestern Mutual as a Software Engineer on the CICD Engineering team. Tripp focused on promoting CICD best practices and developed an extensive catalogue of GitLab CI templates. Tripp also worked as an Automation & Quality Engineering Intern during their time at Northwestern Mutual.

Tripp Horbinski obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, which they attended from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CloudBees. In 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate certifications. In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate certifications. The following year, in 2020, they obtained the Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional certification. In 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification. In 2023, they acquired multiple AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, and AWS Certified Database - Specialty. Tripp also obtained the Certified Jenkins Engineer certification from CloudBees in July 2019.
