Joe Paterniti

Joe Paterniti, P.E. currently serves as the Assistant Chief Engineer for Clay County Utility Authority since September 2021. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Utilities Director for the City of Boynton Beach from March 2016 to August 2021, managing potable water treatment, wastewater collection, reclaimed water distribution, stormwater, and chilled water services for a population exceeding 116 million, overseeing a team of 140 employees across 10 operational divisions. Joe's previous experience includes roles as Assistant CEI Department Manager at SEPI Engineering & Construction, Inc., Operations Manager for the Infrastructure group at Jacobs Engineering, and Managing Engineer at Brown and Caldwell, where responsibilities included senior project management for the Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department contract. Joe began their career as the South Florida Regional Manager at Hartman & Associates. Joe's education includes studies at the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida.
