Jay de Veny

Jay De Veny is a highly experienced engineering leader with a focus on vehicle technology and innovation. Currently serving as Assistant Chief Engineer for the Transit Platform at Ford Motor Company, Jay leads cross-functional engineering efforts for both internal combustion engine and battery electric vehicle models. With a background that includes roles such as Vice President of Vehicle Technology at Hyzon and Managing Director of e-Axle Systems at Allison Transmission, Jay has consistently driven product development and integration in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. Jay's extensive career began at Maritime Applied Physics Corporation and includes pivotal positions at AAM, GETRAG, AxleTech, and others, culminating in a rich history of enhancing operational efficiency and fostering collaboration among diverse teams. Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Michigan State University.
