Wilfredo Laiz

Wilfredo Laiz has a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in various companies. Wilfredo started their career at SEL in 2008, where they worked as a Design Engineer, focusing on electric power system protection and automation. Wilfredo then moved on to the Intelligent Switchgear Organization in 2010, working as an Electrical Engineer primarily involved in the design of low and medium voltage switchgear. In 2011, they joined TRC Companies as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in commissioning major power system equipment and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Currently, they are working at Clay Electric Cooperative as a Senior Substation Engineer.

Wilfredo Laiz completed their education at the University of South Florida from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Animation Foundations: Fundamentals from LinkedIn in April 2020.
