Kristi Johns is an accomplished research consultant and educator with extensive experience in higher education systems, policy, and research. Currently serving as a Research Consultant at both the Urban Institute and Clayton Christensen Institute, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northeastern University, Kristi has previously held roles including Director of Policy and Research at Generation Hope and Research Consultant at Wellesley Centers for Women. Before these positions, Kristi founded 1G DESiGN and worked as a Visiting Scholar at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Kristi's academic background includes a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics & Biotechnology from Brigham Young University. Teaching experience includes designing and instructing biology and genetics courses within the Contra Costa Community College District and Brigham Young University-Idaho.
