Edward Newman

Chief Engineer at Clean Air Power

Edward Newman has a strong background in engineering and management roles within the automotive industry. Edward began their career as an Engineering Manager at Delphi Diesel Systems, where they successfully launched new fuel systems, turned around manufacturing and performance issues, and achieved cost reduction targets. Edward then joined DENSO as the Diesel Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for setting up and running a new team, developing design offices outside of Japan, and implementing procedures for inspection and data analysis. At JCB, they served as the Principal Engineer for Power Systems, and most recently, they joined Clean Air Power as the Chief Engineer, where they focus on the development of gas injectors and hydraulic valves for heavy-duty diesel engines across various applications. Edward has demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams, setting and meeting deadlines, analyzing costs, and meeting customer requirements.

Edward Newman attended the University of Surrey from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Edward successfully graduated with an MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering.
