Nelson Falkenburg

Senior Associate, Clean Energy Infrastructure at Clean Air Task Force

Nelson Falkenburg is a Clean Energy Siting Associate at Clean Air Task Force since September 2022. Previously, Nelson served as a Graduate Sustainability Fellow at Dynamic Sustainability Lab from September 2021 to June 2022 and as a Legislative Coordinator for the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife from November 2017 to June 2021, contributing significantly to the Legislative Affairs team. Additional experience includes roles as a Committee Assistant at Senate Committee Services, Education Officer on S/V Denis Sullivan, Relief Program Coordinator at Sound Experience, and Environmental Educator at WET Science Center. Nelson holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Policy, Conflict, and Collaboration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University (2021-2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Humanities from Whitman College (2010-2014).
