Tim Ding

Tim Ding is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Clean Energy Associates since January 2023, specializing in the design and engineering of electrical packages for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) ranging from 50MWac to 200MWac with a 120MWh BESS capacity. Previously, Tim served as Senior Electrical Engineering Manager at Advanced Green Technologies from April 2013 to January 2023, focusing on the development of detailed electrical designs across the project life cycle, and has held various roles including Electrical Engineer and Operations & Maintenance Manager. Earlier experience includes project management and system engineering for residential and commercial solar projects at EfanGreen Inc, and research assistance at Memorial University, where expertise in optoelectronic devices was gained. Tim holds a Master of Science in Organic Solar Cells/Organic LED and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics, along with NABCEP certification as a PV system Inspector.
