Julianne Basinger

Julianne Basinger is an experienced communications professional specializing in policy and advocacy communications within the clean energy sector. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Policy & Advocacy Communications at the Clean Energy Buyers Association since September 2022, Julianne previously held the position of Senior Strategic Communications Manager at Western Resource Advocates. Between 2015 and 2020, Julianne operated as an editor, writer, and communications consultant for various clients, including the American Council on Education. Prior roles included director of alumni publications at the University of Utah and various editorial positions at Deseret News and The Chronicle of Higher Education, among others. Julianne Basinger holds a Master’s degree in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Utah.
