William Churchill

William Churchill is an experienced policy and communications professional currently serving as the Chief Policy and Impact Officer at the Clean Energy Council since August 2025. Previously, William held various leadership roles at ACCIONA Energía, including General Manager of Corporate Affairs and Senior Manager of Communications and Government Relations. William's extensive background also includes a long-term assignment at Philip Morris International as Manager of External Affairs for Australia and New Zealand, as well as roles at AUSVEG, where responsibilities encompassed managing communications programs and strategic partnerships. William holds a Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management from the University of Queensland and attended St Joseph's College Gregory Terrace in Brisbane from 2001 to 2005.
