Samantha Donalds is an experienced Communications Manager at Clean Energy Group and Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) since 2013, focusing on energy policy and public engagement. Prior to this role, Samantha served as an Administrator at Fairewinds Energy Education, where responsibilities included creating educational content on nuclear power and coordinating various research and media outreach projects. Samantha has also worked as a Research Assistant at Brown University, analyzing fisheries management for a USAID project, and held multiple positions at Mount Holyoke College, including Eco-Rep and Environmental Action Coalition Member, actively promoting sustainability initiatives on campus. Samantha holds a Master of Energy Regulation and Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and French, graduating cum laude from Mount Holyoke College.

Clean Energy Group (CEG) works at the forefront of clean energy innovation to enable a just energy transition to address the urgency of the climate crisis. We fill a critical resource gap by advancing new energy initiatives and serving as a trusted source of technical expertise and independent analysis in support of communities, nonprofit advocates, and government leaders working on the frontlines of climate change and the clean energy transition. We collaborate with partners across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to accelerate the equitable deployment of clean energy technologies and the development of inclusive clean energy programs, policies, and finance tools. Founded in 1998, CEG has been a thought leader on effective climate and clean energy strategies for more than two decades. Clean Energy Group specializes in providing resources and assistance related to emerging technology trends and transformative policy, regulatory, and market approaches.
