Sam Peinado is a Senior Product Manager at Voltus, Inc., spearheading the development of a leading smart grid API focused on enhancing demand response capabilities for renewable energy. Additionally, Sam serves as a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and a Product & UX Consultant at Parametric Design. Previously, Sam held roles including Design Lead at VMware, where strategic direction was provided to a portfolio of technical products for government and Fortune 2000 clients. As Co-Founder & Product Lead at Paces AI, a renewable energy startup, customer research and product development were led to improve data usage in solar project development. Further experience includes positions at Diversified Hydrogen, Pivotal, Mahindra & Mahindra, IDEO, and Omada Health, showcasing extensive expertise in product design, development, and management across various industries. Sam holds a Bachelor's degree with Honors from Harvard University and has additional education in climate change from Terra.do and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Newark Academy.
