Masami Hayashi has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1997. In that year, they were an Associate in Foreign Exchange Operations at Shinsei Bank. Masami then moved to Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in 2001, where they were an Operations Analyst. In 2003, they began working at UNDP as a Programme Officer. From 2006 to 2015, they were the Director of MicroFinance Network and a Partner at BioOrganizaciones. During this time, they were also a Director Consultant at Business Networking International Dynamic Referrals. In 2018, they became an Assistant Sales Manager at Clinical Platform Inc. and, most recently in 2021, they took on the role of Global Strategy Director at Clean Planet Inc., where they are in charge of promoting Quantum Hydrogen Energy (QHe).
Masami Hayashi obtained an LL.B. in Law from The University of Tokyo between 1993 and 1997. In 1999, they completed an MPhil in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies, which they finished in 2001. In 2006, they attended Harvard Business School for a Strategic Leadership in Microfinance course. Additionally, they obtained a Life Coaching certification from Reencuadre Coaching in September 2015 and a Strategic Executive Coaching certification from Reencuadre Coaching in February 2012.
